How do I know which repair method is correct for my foundation?
Following an inspection, PEC can provide names of companies for foundation remediation if necessary. Repair methods depend greatly on the foundation's construction, underlying soil conditions and the nature of the failure. PEC makes recommendations as to the type of repair and the method used, and ultimately a structural engineer approves or modifies the final plans. A PEC engineer can discuss the different options with you at the time of your inspection if warranted.
