TOTAL vs PARTIAL REPAIR THE ENTIRE FOUNDATION
As a professional foundation engineering company, Plano Engineering Corporation only makes recommendations to repair areas that are in need of obvious remediation. Remember, soil is the element common to an entire foundation. so there are some instances where areas not involved in a remediation may be susceptible to movement. Over time it is possible for those areas to continue moving relative to the repaired area which might cause an additional failure. Plano Engineering Corporation typically will only address or evaluate those areas when necessary and at the customer’s request. In order to ensure no future failure, in rare cases, the entire foundation may need to be stabilized.
