Will I have to disclose that this work has been performed if I try to sell my home?
Yes. The local statute requires disclosure of any foundation or structural issues experienced during ownership. These are considered “material defects.” Every completed inspection includes a PEC engineer’s report and plans for repair(s) if any, as well as a PEC engineers’ compliance letter stating that the repair has been performed in compliance with the engineer’s plan.
